If you have a Facebook page setup than chances are that you use it to do a number of things from posting content and sharing articles to selling to your customers directly. One sometimes under utilized feature is its “Button” which is really a call to action button and if you aren’t using it you are losing out on potential sales, inquiries and customers. A call to action is a common term in marketing and web design and it really means what do you want someone to do or “an action you want them to take” whether its asking for more information, buying products, downloading a guide, calling my business and the list goes on and on. I have to give it to Facebook for continuing to make their users more successful especially people using Facebook pages.
As you can see above, when you get to your Facebook page, if you’ve never noticed it before there is a button labeled “Add a Button” and when you click on it you are brought to the following screen.
From here you can add a button with a specific action such as “Contact Us” to “Call Now” and you can preview how the button will look like on a website or mobile device (iOs or Android). My only beef with this feature is that it isn’t highly customizable or allow you to add a custom call-to-action but I can forgive because of the fact that there are so many actions to choose from.
